What to expect at a Wellness Consultation with a Clinical Herbalist

Clinical herbalism can mean a lot of different things depending on the skillsets and experience the practitioner is bringing with them.  With Nicole for example,  she has a background in holistic theory and has studied traditions of herbal healing from around the globe.  Her approach to wellness incorporates knowledge from Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Holistic Traditional Western Medicine, as well as many lessons from Indigenous healers she has had the honor to study with over the year.  She is truly eclectic and blends the modern research with these traditional appreaches to help her clients reach their health goals.

Most initial intakes take around 1.5 hours and include detailed notes that incorporate herbal recommendations, nutrition and lifestyle considerations, and even spiritual work.  If your health concern is chronic and something youve dealt with for some time, a recommendation of 3 visits is highly recommended, and can be bundled at a discounted rate.  Herbal recommendations can be filled elsewhere or clients can request that she fill their herbal needs from her bioregional apothecary.  Nicole does not diagnose, prescribe or treat medical disgnoses.  She works to balance you as a person in what is called a consitutional approach.  She will look over all of your health information and give your a protocol to bring you to more balance.
